Brake Testing

TRM GmbH operates a flywheel dynamometer named DYANA (Dynamometer for the Analysis of Car Brakes) at the Institute of Automotive Enigneering of the Technische Universität Darmstadt, which is used for research purposes for tasks of the university. In the research-free phases, we can offer you professional contract testing. The dynamometer is operated by the Testcenter Rhein-Main GmbH on the basis of a cooperation contract with TU Darmstadt.

Contract Testing

We can offer you all the usual, standardized tests (AK-Master, AMS test, HFT test, heat crack test, ECE-R90 etc.). In addition, individual test programs tailored to your needs are of course also possible.

Scientific questions and brake development

Thanks to the close cooperation with the Institute of Automotive Engineering (FZD) at the TU Darmstadt (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Steven Peters), we are also able to deal with scientific questions for you. We would be happy to make you an individual offer on request.
